Senior Motion Designer

  • Berlin, Germany
  • Full-Time

Job Description:

We are hiring Senior Motion Designer for our customer Kineto, this is an AI-powered platform for creators and marketing professionals. Kineto helps people build, automate, and scale their content workflows — from ideation and research to publishing and analytics. They're a startup moving fast, and our small design team has an outsized impact on the product. They're looking for a Senior Motion Designer to lead the visual motion language across our marketing and social content — this is not a short-term project role, it's a permanent, always-full pipeline of varied work: from fast-turnaround social clips to polished product and brand pieces.

In this role, you will:

  • Own motion design for marketing and SMM — the bulk of your time (~60-70%) goes into producing a high volume of video content for social and campaigns.
  • Support product, web, and B2B materials with motion where it adds value — think interface animations, product demo sequences, and explainer clips.
  • Contribute to print and offline creative when campaigns call for it.
  • Bring an AI-forward mindset — you're comfortable using AI tools to speed up production, not just doing everything by hand.
  • Work across a broad range of formats and styles rather than a single narrow specialty — versatility matters more than deep expertise in one niche.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and marketing team to keep visual language consistent across every touchpoint.

We'd love to have you on the team if you:

  • Have 4+ years of experience in motion design, with a portfolio that speaks for itself — we care more about the work than where it was made.
  • Are comfortable moving between marketing/social motion, product/interface animation, and occasional print or web work.
  • Have a good eye for pacing, timing, and visual storytelling in short-form video.
  • Are open to and curious about AI-assisted workflows for motion and video production.
  • Thrive on variety — you'd rather have a stream of different challenges than repeat the same brief.

Nice to have:

  • Experience animating product/UI scenes or interfaces (no 3D needed).
  • Background creating for both fast social formats and more polished B2B/print materials.
